Clearwater's expanded and renovated lodge store is open from 7 am until 8 pm. Whether you're looking for a great tee shirt, a cold drink or ice cream treat, a souvenir, or the tackle item  the fish are biting we've got you covered. Stop in, visit, and take a look around.

Frozen goods

Our wide variety of ice cream treats is definitely the highlight of the freezer, but they have good company. You'll find ice, pizzas, juice, ice cream, and individually wrapped steaks perfect for grilling at your campsite or cabin.

Refrigerated goods

Nothing feels better after a long day's paddle than a cold beer or soda (well maybe a shower!). We keep Coke and Pepsi products, as well as most domestic beers, chilled and waiting. You can also find milk, butter, sour cream, eggs, and cheese.

If you're not sure what tackle to bring, don't want to pack a big tackle box, or simply want to use what has been hot you've come to the right place. We have a great selection of lures, plastics, spoons, jigs, fishing line, rods, reels, weights, leaders, and spinners. And grab some live bait - we sell crawlers and leeches, based on availability.

We have a wide selection of shirts, pajama pants, hats, sweatshirts, jackets, and more.

Local Specialties

Our store stocks many popular Northwood and Gunflint Trail themed books and souvenirs. You will also find jams made with local berries that are picked and canned right on the trail and authentic Minnesota maple syrup. But the thing that makes our lodge store extra special is our fresh bread. Almost 100 years ago Petra Boostrom, Clearwater's original owner, started each day by baking bread for both the resort and the local neighbors. She baked up to 30 loaves a day on a wood burning stove! Today, her granddaughter, Gloria Johnson, bakes bread in the lodge daily using the same recipes as her Grandma Petra. She also surprises us with a variety of baked goods. Come see what she's baking today. Enjoying fresh bread, brownies, rhubarb pie, or a sweet roll in the lodge is a real treat!

Camping Equipment

If you forgot something and would rather buy than rent you can find the things you need for your camping trip. Microfiber towels, paddling gloves, hatchets, rain ponchos, compasses, flashlights, canoe chairs, knives, and cook kits are just a few of the items you'll find.

You'll find the basics, including toothbrushes, medicine, shampoo, and lots of other essentials.
